Rosana Wolochwianski is a Professional Translator. She obtained her degree in English>Spanish Technical, Scientific and Literary Translation in Rosario, Argentina in 1993. She immediately joined the local
association for Sworn Translators and started to work in Legal Translation. During her years as a history student at the National University of
Rosario, she translated and published several articles connected to Social Sciences. Later, when International
Translation Agencies settled down in the area and the use of Internet
extended, she became increasingly involved in a wider scope of projects, ranging from Technical Translation to Promotional and
Webpages Material, Medicine
and Health Care, Business and Finance. In November 2001 she
obtained the American
Translators Association (ATA) Certification for
English>Spanish Translation, and she became a Bachelor
of
Arts in Translation in December 2005. In 2006, she cofounded and directed for some time a local Center for Translation Studies
and Research, devoting several years to the study of Machine Translation and its effects on the translators' community, and she presented and published her Research Findings
in national and international events and media. In 2016 she obtained a Master
in Creative Writing degree and now devotes some of her efforts
to literary translation and Creative Writing.
